The softly-warbled song
Comes from the pleasant woods, and colored wings
Glance quick in the bright sun, that moves along
The forest openings

Part of "An April Day" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

I finally managed to come up with March's playlist – for work motivation, relaxation and fun.

Here's my February playlist!

I hope you all had a good start into the new year. May this playlist bring you as much motivation as it brought me.

By Michael Miller

I want to be a passenger
in your car again
and shut my eyes
while you sit at the wheel,

awake and assured
in your own private world,
seeing all the lines
on the road ahead,

down a long stretch
of empty highway
without any other
faces in sight.

I want to be a passenger
in your car again
and put my life back
in your hands.

Aesthetic ugliness

There’s a certain aesthetic about things that are hard to look at. The little disgust I feel when looking at them, the little shiver, while my eyes can’t look away.

Somehow I happen to really appreciate art like this. It’s because it interacts with the beholder in a certain way. It’s able to magnetize eyes and artwork and stops you from looking away, although you still feel the urge to take your eyes off.

Maybe that’s also part of the reason I’m addicted to thrilling movies and books.

People, art, blogs and pictures can be a huge inspiration, but there's nothing that let's your thoughts flow like music. That's why I started monthly updated playlists on my soundcloud account a while ago. For those of you who like indie, rock, synthy, alternative and electronic music … there you go!

I'll keep this updated for you here, but you can find all previous and future playlists on my soundcloud as well.

enjoy ♡
